Steven Jones tragically lost his life after being shot nine times by a Hartford police officer during a mental health crisis. A recent preliminary report from the inspector general has classified this incident as a homicide.
In their pursuit of justice for Steven, the Jones family has engaged the renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump to represent them and advocate for necessary reforms within law enforcement's handling of mental health crises.
